The businesses I design for…

I partner with small businesses in different stages and industries — but the need for clarity, support, and calm is usually the same.

Professional services

Your website is often the first place potential clients get a sense of you. I help consultants, therapists, coaches, and service-led businesses create websites that communicate expertise clearly, build trust naturally, and make it easy for the right people to take the next step — without clunky systems or unnecessary complexity.

Local businesses

When people are looking for what you offer, your website should make it easy to find you, understand what you do, and get in touch. I work with studios and local service providers to create websites that support enquiries and bookings, while still reflecting the care, personality, and community behind the business.

Online stores

For product-based businesses, your website needs to do more than display what you sell. I design calm, considered online stores that make it easy for customers to browse, understand your products, and buy with confidence — without the stress of complicated systems behind the scenes.

Courses & memberships

If you’re sharing knowledge through courses, workshops, or memberships, your website should make it easy for people to access your content and feel confident investing in it. I design clear, well-structured websites that support your content now and grow alongside your offering over time.

Events & special projects

For one-off events, weddings, or time-bound projects, your website needs to communicate the essentials clearly and make it easy for people to engage. I create thoughtful, well-structured websites that bring everything together in one place — without unnecessary complexity.

For weddings and special occasions

I also design bespoke wedding websites — thoughtful, elegant spaces your guests can return to with ease.

How your website comes together…

1 | Start the conversation

You get in touch by sending an enquiry or booking a discovery call. We’ll talk through your business, your goals, and what you need from your website — and I’ll answer any questions you have.

2 | Strategy and preparation

Once you’re booked in, you’ll receive a clear preparation guide and project timeline. This ensures everything is organised, thoughtful, and ready before design begins.

3 | Design and build

Using your brand, content, and goals, I design and build your website in Squarespace. Every decision is made with clarity, usability, and your client experience in mind.

4 | Review and refine

You’ll review your website and share feedback. We refine and perfect everything so your website feels aligned, clear, and ready to represent your business confidently.

5 | Launch and support

Once approved, your website goes live. You’ll receive guidance and ongoing support options so you feel confident managing and evolving your website over time.

FROM

THE

FOUNDER

Founder-led — by choice

Hello, I’m Debbie, when you work with me, you’re not hiring a faceless studio — you’re working directly with someone who genuinely cares about your business and where it’s heading.

From our first conversation to launch (and beyond), I’ll guide the process personally: asking the right questions, shaping your messaging, and designing a website that feels considered, clear, and truly you.

You’ll always know what’s happening, what’s included, and what the next step is — and as your business grows, you’ll have a steady place to come back to for updates, support, and honest guidance.

Calm, thoughtful design — with a strategic foundation.

Here’s a recent example of how that approach comes to life in practice.

Featured Project

Amaris Lux Photography

A recent collaboration with wedding photographer Paul at Amaris Lux Photography.

Paul’s work is elegant, emotive, and deeply intentional — and his website needed to reflect that without overcomplicating things. Together, we created a calm, considered digital home that lets his photography lead, while clearly communicating his style, approach, and the experience couples can expect.

The focus was on clarity and flow: helping visitors understand who Paul is, what he offers, and whether he’s the right fit — without distraction or unnecessary noise.

It’s a great example of how a thoughtful website can support a creative business, feel true to the person behind it, and make sharing your work feel effortless again.

Questions, answered

Have another question? I’m always happy to talk it through.

  • Primarily, yes. Most websites are designed and built in Squarespace because it’s flexible, reliable, and easy for clients to manage long-term. In some cases, I also work with Webflow if a project calls for it — we’ll talk through what makes sense for your business.

  • Most projects take around 3–5 weeks, depending on the scope and how ready your content is. We move at a steady pace, with space to pause, review, and refine — not rush to the finish line.

  • Not at all. You’ll need to provide things like images, logos, or brand assets if you have them, but part of the process is helping you shape the content and structure as we go. You don’t need a finished website mapped out in advance.

  • That’s completely fine. We can improve and refine what’s already there, or rebuild if it no longer reflects your business or supports your goals. The starting point doesn’t need to be perfect.

  • Yes. I don’t disappear once your site goes live. You’ll have support through launch and the option for ongoing help afterward — whether that’s small updates, guidance, or having someone steady to turn to when you need it.

  • No. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to understand where you’re at, what’s feeling off, and whether working together makes sense. Even if we don’t move forward, you’ll leave with clarity.

Working together should feel supportive, clear, and genuinely collaborative. Here’s what that experience has been like for clients.

Deborah at Bright Horizon Creative was an absolute dream. From the very first conversation, she understood my vision for Amaris Lux Photography and transformed it into a brand and website that feel truly me. Her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to blend luxury with personality exceeded every expectation.
The new website at amarisluxphotography.co.uk is stunning, intuitive, and deeply reflective of my style. Deborah guided me through the entire process with warmth, clarity, and genuine passion for her craft. I couldn’t be happier with the result and highly recommend her to anyone looking to elevate their brand.
