1 | Start the conversation
You get in touch by sending an enquiry or booking a discovery call. We’ll talk through your business, your goals, and what you need from your website, and I’ll answer any questions you have. This is also where we can decide what level of support feels right — whether you’d like a more collaborative process or a more done-for-you approach.
2 | Strategy and preparation
Once you’re booked in, you’ll receive a clear preparation guide and project timeline. This helps gather everything needed before design begins, from content and imagery to brand direction and practical details. The aim is to make the process feel organised, thoughtful, and far less overwhelming.
3 | Design and build
Using your brand, content, and goals, I design and build your website in Squarespace. Every decision is made with clarity, usability, and your client experience in mind. Some clients like to be closely involved as the design takes shape, while others prefer a more guided process with me leading the way — both are absolutely welcome.
4 | Review and refine
You’ll review your website and share feedback, so we can make sure everything feels aligned, clear, and ready to represent your business confidently. This stage is about refining the details, strengthening the user experience, and making sure the final website feels right both visually and strategically.
5 | Launch and support
Once your website is approved, it’s time to launch. But going live is only the beginning. Bright Horizon Creative also offers ongoing support to help you review how your website is performing, understand how visitors are interacting with it, and make thoughtful improvements over time. From updates and refinements to insights from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, support can also include SEO improvements and guidance around visibility tools such as Google Business Profile where relevant — helping your website continue to support your business as it grows.

Primarily, yes. Most websites are designed and built in Squarespace because it’s flexible, reliable, and easy for clients to manage long-term. In some cases, I also work with Webflow if a project calls for it — we’ll talk through what makes sense for your business.

Most projects take around 3–5 weeks, depending on the scope and how ready your content is. We move at a steady pace, with space to pause, review, and refine — not rush to the finish line.

Not at all. You’ll need to provide things like images, logos, or brand assets if you have them, but part of the process is helping you shape the content and structure as we go. You don’t need a finished website mapped out in advance.

That’s completely fine. We can improve and refine what’s already there, or rebuild if it no longer reflects your business or supports your goals. The starting point doesn’t need to be perfect.

Yes. I don’t disappear once your site goes live. You’ll have support through launch and the option for ongoing help afterward — whether that’s small updates, guidance, or having someone steady to turn to when you need it.
