Squarespace website design studio, led by a real human
Websites and support for small businesses ready to stop being overlooked online
A website that finally looks as good as the business behind it
Bright Horizon Creative designs calm, strategic websites that attract the right clients and make it easy for them to work with you.
WHO THIS IS FOR
If you've been putting off your website because it feels overwhelming, or you have one that just isn't doing you justice — you're in the right place. I work with small businesses who are great at what they do, but need a website that finally shows it.
You might be exactly who I work with
The kinds of businesses I love working with
I work with small businesses across lots of industries — but what they all have in common is this: they're good at what they do, and they're ready for a website that finally shows it.
Professional services
Consultants, coaches, therapists, accountants — if your expertise is the product, your website needs to do a lot of quiet work. I'll help you build something that earns trust quickly, answers the right questions, and makes it easy for the right people to reach out.
Local businesses
Whether you're a café, a salon, a florist, or a tradesperson — people in your area are searching for exactly what you offer. I'll make sure they can find you, understand what you do in seconds, and feel like they already know you a little before they get in touch.
Online stores
If you're selling products online, your website is your shop floor, your window display, and your till — all at once. I'll design something that makes browsing feel enjoyable, builds confidence in your brand, and gets people all the way to checkout without second-guessing themselves.
Courses & memberships
You've put real effort into what you've created — your website should reflect that. I'll help you build something that explains your offer clearly, makes signing up feel simple, and gives people the confidence to invest before they've even hit the button.
Ways I can help
Whether you're starting from scratch, tidying up what you've already got, or just need someone in your corner on an ongoing basis — there's a way of working together that fits where you are right now.
Designer for the Day
Timeline: 1 day
Investment £495
Sometimes you don't need a whole new website — you just need someone to spend a focused day fixing the things that have been bothering you. We'll work through your existing Squarespace site together and leave it feeling sharper, clearer, and more like you.
Good if: you already have a website but something's not quite right and you can't put your finger on it.
Website Design
Timeline: From 2-6 weeks
Investment From £695-£1995
A thoughtful, built-from-scratch Squarespace website designed entirely around your business. Not a template pulled off the shelf — every decision, from structure to style, is made with your clients and your goals in mind.
Good if: you're ready for a website that properly represents where your business is now.
Website & Business Support
Timeline: Ongoing or as needed
Hourly support £45-£55/hour
Having someone who knows your website and your business makes everything easier. I can help with updates, keep things running smoothly, spot opportunities to improve, and be there when something needs sorting — without you having to explain it all from scratch every time.
Good if: you want to keep growing after launch and not feel like you're on your own with it.
How your website comes together…
A calm, supported process — so you always know what's happening, what's coming next, and that you're not doing any of it alone.
1 | Start the conversation
Get in touch by sending an enquiry or booking a discovery call. We'll talk through your business, your goals, and what you need from your website — and I'll answer any questions you have. This is also where we figure out how you'd like to work: some clients like to be closely involved throughout, others prefer to hand things over and trust the process. Both are completely fine.
2 | Strategy and preparation
Once you're booked in, you'll get a clear preparation guide and project timeline. It covers everything we'll need before design begins — content, imagery, brand direction, and the practical details. It's designed to make this part feel straightforward, not like homework.
3 | Design and build
Using your brand, content, and goals, I design and build your website in Squarespace. Every decision is made with your clients in mind — how they'll land on the page, what they'll need to see, and what will make them want to take the next step. You'll be as involved as you'd like to be along the way.
4 | Review and refine
This is your chance to sit with the design and share what's working and what isn't. We'll work through your feedback together until everything feels right — visually, practically, and for the people you're trying to reach.
5 | Launch and support
When everything's ready, we'll go live. But launching is just the start. I offer ongoing support to help your website keep working as your business grows — whether that's updates, improvements, or keeping an eye on how things are performing. You won't be left to figure it out on your own.
A little about meHi, I'm Debbie
I started Bright Horizon Creative because I wanted to work closely with the people behind small businesses — not hand things off down a chain and hope for the best. When you work with me, you're working with me. I'm the one asking the questions, doing the design, and making sure everything feels right before we're done.
I care a lot about getting it right — not just getting it finished. That means taking the time to understand your business properly, being honest with you along the way, and building something that still feels like a good decision six months after launch.
And when your website is live, I'm not disappearing. Whether you need updates, have questions, or just want a second opinion on something — I'm here.
Calm, thoughtful design — with someone who genuinely gives a damn.
Questions, answered
Have another question? I’m always happy to talk it through.
-
Primarily, yes — Squarespace is my platform of choice because it's flexible, reliable, and genuinely easy for you to manage once your site is live. In some cases I also work in Webflow, and we can talk through what makes the most sense for your business if you're not sure.
-
Most projects take around 3–5 weeks, depending on the scope and how ready your content is. We move at a steady pace — with time to pause, review, and get things right — rather than rushing to the finish line.
-
Not at all. You'll need to provide things like images, logos, or brand assets if you have them — but part of what I do is help you shape the content and structure as we go. You don't need to arrive with everything mapped out.
-
That's completely fine — and very common. We can work with what you have, improve and refine it, or start fresh if it no longer feels like you. Either way, the starting point doesn't need to be perfect. That's what I'm here for.
-
Yes. I don't disappear once your site goes live. You'll have support through launch and the option for ongoing help afterward — whether that's small updates, guidance, or having someone steady to turn to when you need it.
-
No. It's a relaxed conversation to understand where you are, what's feeling off, and whether working together makes sense. There's no pitch and no pressure — and even if we don't move forward, you'll leave the call with a clearer head.

What it’s like to work together
The best way to know if we're a good fit is to hear it from someone who's been through the process.
“Deborah at Bright Horizon Creative was an absolute dream to work with. From the very first conversation, she understood my vision and transformed it into a brand and website that feels truly me. Her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to blend luxury with personality exceeded every expectation. The new website is stunning, intuitive, and deeply reflective of my style — and Deborah guided me through the entire process with warmth, clarity, and genuine passion for her craft. I couldn’t be happier.”
Let's figure out what you need
Whether you're starting from scratch, not sure where to begin, or just want a second opinion on what you've already got — drop me a message. No commitment, no pressure.
It costs nothing to find out if we're a good fit.
